THE SHADOWS
I
have walked across the desert
I
have fasted on the way
Lonely
in my lifestyle
I
have hungered every day
There’s
been pain inside the silence
There’s
been sorrow when I pray
I
have thirsted
I
have stumbled
Often
dragged by feet of clay
But
I rejoice, because I found Jesus!
In
the darkness I have found Him
In
places of despair
I
went to life’s sad shadows
And
found Him waiting there
That’s
where I found His comfort
In
His arms of loving care
There
He waited
In
the shadow
Of The Cross He gently
